Die Tanzreihe im TiF – Theater im Fridericianum geht in der Spielzeit 2022/23 mit SEASON 2 in die zweite Runde: In „Let’s Talk About Bodies in Space“ treten die Tänzer:innen von TANZ_KASSEL nicht nur als co-creators in Erscheinung, sondern können sich auch als Choreograf:innen ausprobieren, in einem Forschungsprojekt, in dessen Zentrum der menschliche Körper selbst steht – der choreografierte Körper in der Flüchtigkeit seiner Bewegungen. Die Husumerin Ali ist gemeinsam mit ihrem Streicherensemble in Gaza, am nächsten Tag soll ihr großes Konzert sein. Ali ist überzeugt, dass ihre Musik Menschen zusammenbringen und Konflikte befrieden kann. Doch als der israelisch-palästinensische Konflikt plötzlich hautnah erlebbar wird, gerät sie mitten hinein: Sie trifft u. a. einen jungen palästinensischen Mann, den Assistenten eines palästinensischen Kulturinstituts, einen jungen israelischen Soldaten, eine israelische Krankenschwester – und ihre Überzeugung gerät ins Wanken: Was ist falsch, was richtig in diesem Konflikt, der in jede Biografie eingeschrieben ist und in dem alle glauben, das Recht auf ihrer Seite zu haben? Welche Rolle kann sie als deutsche Musikerin darin spielen? Die Trio-Kombination von Oboe, Horn und Klavier ist nicht sehr häufig zu hören, doch gibt es einige wenige, wunderschöne Werke für die Besetzung, so z. B. zwei der romantischen Kompositionstradition verhaftete Trios von Carl Reinecke und Robert Kahn. Außerdem erklingt unter dem Titel „Pastorale“ die Uraufführung eines Duos für Oboe und Horn von Nikolai Petersen, Kapellmeister und Studienleiter am Theater Ulm, sowie weitere Duos für eine:n Bläser:in und Klavier.

Dmitri Schostakowitsch: Sinfonie Nr. 11 g-Moll op. 103, Das Jahr 1905

Die 11. Sinfonie in g-Moll von Dmitri Schostakowitsch ist wie viele Werke des russischen Komponisten recht zweideutig. Der offizielle Titel „Das Jahr 1905“ bezieht sich ganz klar auf die Revolution und den „Petersburger Blutsonntag“ vom 9. November 1905, an dem Zar Nikolaus II. auf sein unbewaffnetes Volk schießen ließ. Andererseits gibt es Quellen und Aussagen, die als Hintergrund für die Sinfonie vielmehr die Vorgänge der post-stalinistischen Zeit der 1950er Jahre in den Staaten des Warschauer Pakts sehen. Nikita Chruschtschow, neuer starker Mann der Sowjetunion, wollte sich als Reformer inszenieren, in Wahrheit schikanierte und diffamierte er seine Kritiker.

Mittendrin statt nur dabei: „Die Zauberflöte“
Künstler:innen des Staatstheaters zeigen, was es heißt, sich tagtäglich mit darstellender Kunst zu beschäftigen. Sie geben Einblicke in ihren Arbeitsalltag, vermitteln die Basics ihres Berufsfeldes und bieten die Möglichkeit, sich selbst auszuprobieren und weiterzuentwickeln.
Anfang März geht es um Mozarts „Zauberflöte“. Gemeinsam mit der Musiktheaterdramaturgin Teresa Martin erarbeiten die Workshop-Teilnehmer:innen ein eigenes Konzept zu Regie, Bühne und Kostüme – und diskutieren die Kasseler Neuinszenierung.
