Morgen öffnet in Berlin die Internationale Tourismus-Börse (ITB) ihre Tore für das Publikum.
Die jedes Jahr im März stattfindende Veranstaltung gilt als die größte Reisemesse der Welt.
Die ITB 2023 findet erstmals seit Beginn des Corona-Ausbruchs wieder als LIVE-Event statt.
Dazu passend zeigen aktuelle Daten der Statista Consumer Insights, dass sich das Reiseverhalten in Deutschland zuletzt wieder normalisiert hat.
Unsere Daten deuten auch an, wie sehr die Branche unter der Pandemie gelitten hat.
So gaben beim letzten Umfrage-Update 2021 (erhoben in mehreren Wellen zwischen Januar und Dezember 2021) 37 Prozent der Befragten an, in den letzten zwölf Monaten gar nicht in den Urlaub gefahren zu sein.
Die Statista-Daten decken sich mit denen anderer Tourismus-Umfragen.
So stellt beispielsweise die Reiseanalyse 2023 fest, dass die Eckdaten für das Jahr 2022 ein Urlaubsverhalten zeigen, “das dem vor der Pandemie stark ähnelt”.
