Zum Beispiel: Ich trage immer Slipeinlagen. Nun hat mir eine Freundin gesagt, dass das nicht gut ist. Warum?

Die Antwort kommt von Dr. Roswitha Engel-Széchényi, Frauenärztin aus Stuttgart: Außerhalb der Menstruation sind Slipeinlagen weder gut für die Gesundheit noch für die Umwelt.

Vor allem bei luftundurchlässigen Einlagen stauen sich Wärme und Feuchtigkeit im Intimbereich. Das erhöht die Gefahr einer Bakterien- oder Pilzinfektion. Oft sind die Einlagen außerdem zusätzlich parfümiert.

Das kann die Haut der Vulva reizen und Allergien auslösen. Davon abgesehen produzieren Slipeinlagen jede Menge Müll. Mein Rat: Tragen Sie lieber Unterwäsche aus luftdurchlässigen Materialien wie Baumwolle und wechseln

Sie sie wenn nötig mehrmals täglich. Haben Sie übermäßig viel Ausfluss, sollten Sie das von Ihrer Frauenärztin oder Ihrem Frauenarzt abklären lassen.
