(ots)Kassel-Mitte: Unbekannte haben in der Nacht zum heutigen Donnerstag die Fassade und Fenster eines Justizgebäudes in der Straße “Schöne Aussicht” in Kassel durch Stein- und Farbwürfe beschädigt.

Der Sachschaden liegt nach ersten Schätzungen im Bereich eines oberen fünfstelligen Betrages.

Die Polizei sucht nun nach Zeugen, die Hinweise auf die bislang unbekannten Täter geben können.

Nach derzeitigem Ermittlungsstand hatte sich die Tat gegen 2:40 Uhr in der Nacht ereignet.

Mutmaßlich mehrere unbekannte Täter hatten Steine und mit Farbe gefüllte Gläser gegen die Fassade des Gebäudeteils, in dem sich das Amtsgericht Kassel befindet, geworfen.

Dadurch wurden mehrere Glaselemente der Fassade beschädigt und mit Farbe beschmutzt.

Im Anschluss flüchteten die Täter offenbar in Richtung “Neue Galerie”.

Die weiteren Ermittlungen werden nun bei der Kriminalinspektion Staatsschutz des Polizeipräsidiums Nordhessen geführt, da der Verdacht auf eine politisch motivierte Straftat besteht.
