Demnach ergibt sich folgende Stimmenverteilung:

Dr. Schoeller, Sven (GRÜNE): 27,84 Prozent

Dr. Carqueville, Isabel (SPD): 12,82 Prozent

Kühne‐Hörmann, Eva (CDU): 16,75 Prozent

Bock, Violetta (DIE LINKE): 9,17 Prozent

Käufler, Stefan (Die PARTEI): 1,95 Prozent

Geselle, Christian (Geselle): 31,47 Prozent

Die Wahlbeteiligung liegt bei 40,94 Prozent.

Allerdings hat Christian Geselle angekündigt, nicht zur Stichwahl antreten zu wollen. Dies hätte zur Folge, dass sich die Wahlberechtigten bei der Stichwahl am Sonntag, 26. März, für oder gegen Dr. Sven Schoeller als Oberbürgermeister entscheiden können.

Die Amtszeit vom derzeitigen Oberbürgermeister Geselle endet am 21. Juli 2023.

Der Wahlausschuss wird nach Prüfung der Niederschriften in seiner öffentlichen Sitzung im Rathaus am Mittwoch, 15. März, um 13 Uhr das amtliche Wahlergebnis feststellen.
