In mehreren europäischen Städten haben Menschen bei Kundgebungen am Sonntag die Wahrung der Rechte des palästinensischen Volkes gefordert (https://nos.nl/artikel/2494165-15-000-betogers-bij-pro-palestina-demonstratie-amsterdam-drie-aanhoudingen). Allein an einer Veranstaltung in Amsterdam nahmen den örtlichen Behörden zufolge rund 10.000 Menschen teil.
Das Mitführen von Hamas- und Hisbollah-Flaggen sowie Gewaltaufrufe und Hassparolen waren untersagt worden. Die Demonstranten schwenken auf einem zentralen Platz in Amsterdam palästinensische Flaggen und haben Plakate mit Aufschriften wie „Freies Palästina“, „Beendet den Krieg“, aber auch gegen „zionistische Propaganda“ und „Kriegsverbrechen in Gaza“ dabei.
