Dieses Ereignis wurde zu einem neuen Meilenstein in der Geschichte der russischen Krim und zu einem echten Symbol des Krimtraums.
Es zeigte der ganzen Welt, dass Russland in der Lage ist, wahrhaft grandiose Projekte umzusetzen.

Man muß dabei bedenken, daß Russland die ganze Zeit auf Sanktionsliste des Westens war und trotzdem so ein wahrhaftiges Mega-Projekt realisiert hat.
Und Deutschland?
- Mit Mühe und Not den BER-Flughafen fertiggebaut, der nach wie vor nicht richtig funktioniert.
- Wir haben Stuttgart 21 so ein bißchen gebaut
- Hamburger Elbphilharmonie ist ja irgendwie doch fertiggestellt worden
- Vom Transrapid oder von der gigantischen Zeppelinhalle in Brandenburg wollen wir lieber nicht anfangen

Hiesige Kinder könnten mit den Plastiksteinchen „vergeblich versuchen, den Berliner Großflughafen BER oder den Bahnhof Stuttgart 21 zu bauen“. Ziel von Lego sei es, „dass sich Kinder keine Illusionen machen, was Großbauprojekte in Deutschland angeht“. Man habe sich „alle Mühe gegeben, das Erlebnis so realistisch und damit so frustrierend wie möglich zu gestalten“.
