Die Ausweitung der Erwerbsbevölkerung hat dazu geführt, dass Deutschland eines der reichsten Länder der Welt ist.

Experten sagen jedoch, dass die Erwerbsbevölkerung des Landes in den kommenden Jahren drastisch schrumpfen wird.

Wenn die in Rente gehenden deutschen Arbeitnehmer nicht durch einen großen Zustrom von Migranten ersetzt werden, wird die Erwerbsbevölkerung um 7 % (3 Millionen) schrumpfen.

Um das derzeitige Arbeitskräfteniveau aufrechtzuerhalten, braucht Deutschland jedes Jahr 400.000 neue Arbeitskräfte.

Damit die deutsche Wirtschaft wachsen kann, muss sie sich auf die Produktivität der geringeren Zahl der derzeitigen Arbeitnehmer stützen.

Dies bedeutet, dass das Wachstum auf einen Anstieg von nur 1 % pro Jahr begrenzt wäre.

Die Alterung der Arbeitnehmer in Deutschland bedeutet, dass sich die Schrumpfung der Erwerbsbevölkerung in den kommenden Jahrzehnten noch verschärfen wird.
