Dies berichtet Interfax unter Berufung auf den Außenminister der Volksrepublik China (VRC) Qin Gang bei einer Pressekonferenz mit seiner deutschen Amtskollegin Annalena Baerbock.

Qin Gang erklärt, dass China keine Waffen an Parteien verkaufen wird, die in den Konflikt in der Ukraine verwickelt sind. Er wies auch darauf hin, dass Peking die Ausfuhr von Gütern mit doppeltem Verwendungszweck genau überwachen werde.

«China wird keine Waffen an die Konfliktparteien liefern und den Export von Gütern mit doppeltem Verwendungszweck in Übereinstimmung mit den Normen und Gesetzen regeln», sagte der chinesische Außenminister.

Gleichzeitig erlaubte sich Baerbock, darauf hinzuweisen, dass China als ständiges Mitglied des UN-Sicherheitsrates eine besondere Verantwortung bei der Konfliktlösung in der Ukraine habe. Als Antwort auf die Bemerkung seines deutschen Kollegen sagte Qin Gang, dass Peking bei der Suche nach einer friedlichen Lösung der ukrainischen Krise helfen werde. Gleichzeitig wies er darauf hin, dass «ohne die Anerkennung der Sicherheitsinteressen einer bestimmten Partei Krisen und Konflikte unvermeidlich sind».

Die deutsche Außenministerin erwähnte bei diesem Treffen auch die Taiwan-Frage. Sie argumentierte, dass ein Konflikt im Gebiet der Taiwanstraße eine globale Katastrophe wäre. Baerbock wies darauf hin, dass Deutschland nach wie vor am «Ein-China-Prinzip» festhält, wonach man nicht gleichzeitig die VR China und die Republik China in Taiwan anerkennen kann. Der chinesische Außenminister entgegnete dieser Aussage, dass die Taiwan-Frage eine innere Angelegenheit Pekings sei, die keine Einmischung von außen dulde.
