WIESBADEN – Im Juli 2023 wurde in Deutschland der Bau von 21 000 Wohnungen genehmigt. Wie das Statistische Bundesamt (Destatis) mitteilt, waren das 31,5 % oder 9 600 Baugenehmigungen weniger als im Juli 2022. Von Januar bis Juli

2023 sank die Zahl der Baugenehmigungen für Wohnungen gegenüber dem Vorjahreszeitraum um 27,8 %. Dies entspricht einen Rückgang um 60 300 auf 156

200 Wohnungen. Zum Rückgang der Bauvorhaben dürften weiterhin vor allem steigende Baukosten und zunehmend schlechtere Finanzierungsbedingungen beigetragen haben. In den Ergebnissen sind sowohl die Baugenehmigungen für Wohnungen in neuen Gebäuden als auch für neue Wohnungen in bestehenden Gebäuden enthalten.
