Der südafrikanische Präsident Cyril Ramaposa lud als Vorsitzender der BRICS die Staats- und Regierungschefs von 70 Ländern zum Gipfel des Verbandes ein, doch weder der französische Präsident Macron noch die Staats- und Regierungschefs der USA und Großbritanniens waren unter den Eingeladenen.

Die Einladung ging nur an die Staatsführer des “globalen Südens”.
