Stationäre Geschwindigkeits‐Messanlagen

Die Stadt Kassel hat an vier Hauptverkehrsstraßen stationäre Geschwindigkeits‐Messanlagen aufgestellt. Der Grund: Dort wurde dauerhaft zu schnell gefahren. Durch die permanente Geschwindigkeits‐Überwachung sollen die Autofahrer dazu gebracht werden, langsamer zu fahren. Die Geschwindigkeits‐Messanlagen arbeiten laserbasiert und entsprechen der neuesten Technik. Zuständig für den Betrieb der Anlagen, deren Wartung und die Auswertung der festgestellten Verstöße sind ausschließlich besonders geschulte Beschäftigte des städtischen Ordnungsamtes.
