Im Vergleich zur Vorwoche hat sich der Kraftstoff im Tagesdurchschnitt nicht weiter verteuert und kostet unverändert 1,769 Euro je Liter. Mit dem Preis von Super E10 geht es aber, wenn auch nur leicht, weiter nach oben. Ein Liter kostet derzeit im Mittel 0,2 Cent mehr als in der Vorwoche und damit 1,860 Euro. Trotz nahezu unveränderter Preise ist das Niveau für beide Sorten im Moment weiterhin deutlich zu hoch. Im Wochenvergleich notiert Öl der Sorte Brent etwas günstiger (84 US-Dollar je Barrel), aber auch der Euro zeigt sich leicht schwächer.

Angesichts hoher Spritpreise hat das Bundeskartellamt, wie auch der ADAC, dazu aufgerufen, stets Preise zu vergleichen und gezielt relativ günstige Tankstellen anzufahren. Das Amt hat zudem festgestellt, dass die aktuellen Preissteigerungen schon auf Ebene der Raffinerien und des Imports stattfinden. Speziell bei Diesel ist diese Preisentwicklung für die Behörde erneut Anlass, genauer hinzuschauen. Entsprechend drängt der ADAC darauf, die laufende Untersuchung der Raffinerie- und Großhandelsebene für Kraftstoffe rasch abzuschließen.

Autofahrer können beim Tanken bares Geld sparen, wenn sie in den Abendstunden zur Tankstelle fahren. Die günstigste Zeit ist laut ADAC abends zwischen 20 und 22 Uhr. Aber auch zwischen 18 und 19 Uhr sind die Preise besonders niedrig. In den Morgenstunden ist Sprit in aller Regel um einiges teurer.

Auch Vergleichen lohnt sich, denn die Spritpreise an den Tankstellen unterscheiden sich bisweilen erheblich. Schnelle und praktische Hilfe bekommen Autofahrer mit der App “ADAC Drive”, die die Preise nahezu aller über 14.000 Tankstellen in Deutschland zur Verfügung stellt.
