Morgen veröffentlicht der Deutsche Bauernverband (DBV) seinen zweiten Zwischenbericht zur Getreideernte 2023. Dann wird sich zeigen, ob die Dürre in Deutschland Einfluss auf die Erntemenge hat.
Im Normalfall kann sich Deutschland laut Daten des Bundesministeriums für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft gut selber mit Getreide versorgen.
Insgesamt beläuft sich der Selbstversorgungsgrad bei Nahrungsmitteln auf 87 Prozent.
Aber wir sind längst nicht in allen Bereichen autark, wie der Blick auf die Statista-Grafik zeigt. Das betrifft zum Beispiel Gemüse, aber mehr noch Obst.
Selbst bei Äpfel kann Deutschland seinen Bedarf zu weniger als 50 Prozent aus eigener Ernte decken.
Auch bei anderen heimischen Obstsorten wie Brom- und Stachelbeeren Birnen oder Kirschen sind es weniger als 20 Prozent. Niedrig ist der Selbstversorgungsgrad auch bei Fisch sowie Ölen und Fetten. Gut sieht es dagegen bei Fleisch und Geflügel aus.
Im ersten Erntebericht hatte der DBV von unerwartet guten Erträgen bei Wintergerste berichte.
Dennoch war der Ausblick Mitte Juli verhalten. “Die vorliegenden Ergebnisse lassen vermuten, dass Winterweizen und Winterraps mehr unter der Trockenheit gelitten haben als die Gerste”, so die Einschätzung des Verbands.
