Von der Leyen hat mehrfach erklärt – unter anderem bei einem Besuch in Tel Aviv –, dass die EU jetzt und in Zukunft an der Seite Israels stehe.

Zu solcherlei Erklärungen habe von der Leyen jedoch keinerlei Befugnis.

Sie habe kein Recht für alle Bürger der Europäischen Union zu sprechen, so Daly.

Angesichts der israelischen Kriegsverbrechen in Gaza sei es höchste Zeit, dass der Internationale Strafgerichtshof Ermittlungen gegen die deutsche CDU-Politikerin einleite.
