Am unteren Teil der Ihringshäuser Straße stehen übers Wochenende umfassende Bauarbeiten an einer Wasserleitung bevor: Deswegen ist die
Bundesstraße 3 dort ab dem Kreuzungsbereich Weserstraße/ Fuldatalstraße stadtauswärts auf rund 400 Metern gesperrt.
Die Arbeiten beginnen am Freitagabend, 27. Oktober, um 21 Uhr und enden voraussichtlich am frühen Montagmorgen, 30. Oktober, um 5 Uhr, also noch bevor der Berufsverkehr einsetzt. Die Zufahrt aus Richtung Stadtmitte nach links in den Mittelring (Klinikum) bleibt jedoch möglich. Und ab der Kreuzung Eisenschmiede/Am Fasanenhof ist die Ihringshäuser stadtauswärts wieder frei.
Aufgrund bautechnischer Notwendigkeiten und der hohen Verkehrsbelastung finden die Bauarbeiten am Wochenende mit zusätzlichen Nachtschichten statt. Für die zu erwartenden Lärmbelästigungen bittet die Stadt um Verständnis.
Für den Durchgangsverkehr Richtung Ihringshausen/Hann. Münden gibt es eine Umleitung. Den Fuß- und den Radverkehr haben kaum Einschränkungen zu erwarten. Die von der Sperrung betroffenen Anliegergrundstücke in der Ihringshäuser Straße (zwischen Ostring und Am Fasanenhof) können über die Kaulbachstraße angefahren werden.
Grund für die Sperrung ist das Verlegen einer Wasserleitung, ausgehend von der Ysenburgstraße über den Ostring zum Ortsbezirk Fasanenhof.
