Derzeit befinden sich Einsatzkräfte von Feuerwehr und Polizei in Willingen (Upland) im Einsatz.

Unbekannte haben gg. 02:05 Uhr einen Geldautomaten einer Bankfiliale in der Briloner Sraße in Willingen gesprengt. Anwohner hörten eine Explosion und verständigten daraufhin die Polizei. Mindestens zwei dunkelgekleidete Täter verließen kurz nach der Explosion die dortige Bankfiliale und flüchteten mit einem Pkw in Richtung Brilon.

Es liegen derzeit keine Kenntnisse über Personenschäden vor. Ob die unbekannten Täter an Beute gelangten ist derzeit noch unklar. Über die Höhe des Sachschadens kann derzeit noch keine Aussage getroffen werden.

Sprengstoffexperten des Hessischen Landeskriminalamts sind alarmiert.

Die Ortsdurchfahrt Willinngen ist in der Ortsmitte zur Zeit voll gesperrt.
