Es ist nicht leicht, Rumpelstilzchen zu sein. Obwohl er Stroh zu Gold spinnen kann, steht er vor Gericht und muss sich für seine Taten aus dem bekannten gleichnamigen Märchen verantworten.

Doch er erhält noch einmal die Chance, seine Taten wiedergutzumachen – eine Gemeinschaft aus Dornröschen, Rotkäppchen und dem tapferen Prinzen macht sich auf die Reise um den magischen Kelch der Riesin Saba zu finden, der irgendwo tief im Märchenwald versteckt sein soll. Keine dieser Märchenfiguren kennt sich mit Magie aus, also soll Rumpelstilzchen sie begleiten und bei der Suche nach dem Schatz helfen. Doch wie sollen die Helden aus den anderen Märchen einem so zwielichtigen Gesellen vertrauen können? Wird es der Gruppe gelingen, das Abenteuer zu bestehen, die Rätsel zu lösen, einem hungrigen Wolf zu entkommen und den Schatz Sabas zu finden? Und welchem spannenden Geheimnis werden sie dabei auf den Grund gehen?
