Nach einem ungewöhnlich warmen Oktober mit Temperaturen bis 30 Grad erlebt das Land nun eine seltene Wetterlage.

Experten prognostizieren für das kommende Wochenende einen dramatischen Temperatursturz und eine Schneewalze, die bis zu 20 Zentimeter Neuschnee mit sich bringen könnte.

Besonders in der Landesmitte könnte der Schnee für winterliche Verhältnisse sorgen, während es im Südwesten und Nordosten zunächst milder bleibt.

Die Luftmassengrenze über Deutschland ist der Auslöser für diese rasche Wetterwende.

Ein kurzer, aber heftiger Wintereinbruch steht bevor, der die Straßen in eine glatte Rutschbahn verwandeln könnte.

Doch so schnell wie der Winter einbricht, so rasch kehrt auch mildereres Wetter zurück.

Nach diesem Mini-Winter erwartet Deutschland wieder Temperaturen bis 15 Grad.
