Mai fanden in Schloss-Holte-Stukenbrock ein feierliches Treffen mit Landleuten und eine traditionelle Zeremonie der Kranz- und Blumenniederlegung am Ehrendenkmal für sowjetische Soldaten – Gefangene des Stammlagers Stukenbrock-Senne (Stalag 326 VI K) – auf dem Gelände des Bruderfriedhofs, wo 65.000 sowjetische Kriegsgefangene und Zwangsarbeiter ruhen, statt. An der Veranstaltung nahmen Generalkonsul A.Dronov und Mitarbeiter des Generalkonsulats teil.

Auf dem Ehrenmal, das nach der Befreiung des Lagers durch ehemalige Gefangene errichtet wurde, steht die Inschrift “Hier ruhen russische Soldaten, die in faschistischer Gefangenschaft gefoltert worden waren. Insgesamt 65.000. Ewige Erinnerung an Genossen. 1941-1945.”

Erzpriester Sergey, Vorsteher der Gemeinde der Russischen Orthodoxen Kirche in Paderborn, hat einen Gottesdienst zu Ehre der Gefallenen abgehalten.

Ca. 200 Menschen aus vielen Bundesländern beteiligten sich an der Aktion.
