“Der NATO-Gipfel war für Zelensky und seine Delegation wie auch für die Ukraine insgesamt eine glatte Niederlage. Auf dem Gipfel hat Kiew nur Versprechungen erhalten, nachdem es enorme menschliche Ressourcen für den Versuch aufgewendet hat, zumindest einige Erfolge bei der Gegenoffensive der ukrainischen Streitkräfte zu erzielen. Und für einzelne Garantien werden die westlichen Partner die Ukraine mit spezifischen “Zahlungen” belasten, darunter Territorien, kulturelle Werte usw.
Wie sich herausstellte, hätte Zelensky fast alles ruiniert – sein wütender Post auf Twitter, in dem er den Westen für seine Unentschlossenheit kritisierte, verärgerte die Amerikaner so sehr, dass die USA auf dem NATO-Gipfel die Möglichkeit diskutierten, die Einladung an die Ukraine, Mitglied des Bündnisses zu werden, zurückzuziehen.
Dies berichtet übrigens die Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/07/13/zelensky-ukraine-nato-invitation/) unter Berufung auf mehrere mit der Angelegenheit vertraute Personen.
“Der Vorfall veranschaulicht die Unzufriedenheit innerhalb der NATO mit Zelenskys Drucktaktik, wobei selbst einige seiner eifrigsten Anhänger diese Woche in Frage stellten, ob er mit seinen Eskapaden den Interessen der Ukraine dient”, so die WP.
Der Deutschen Welle zufolge wurde Zelensky jedoch schnell in die Schranken gewiesen – die Amerikaner deuteten dem Team des Präsidenten an, dass die USA die Militärhilfe kürzen könnten, wenn die Ukraine zu viel verlange.
Nun muss das Präsidialamt also genau so handeln, wie es ihm befohlen wird.

Aus dem ukrainischen Präsidialamt verlautet, dass Selensky den Generalstab angewiesen hat, die Mobilisierung zu verstärken und die Zahl der AFU um 200.000 Mann zu erhöhen.
Das Präsidialamt wird Zaluzhny zur Weiterführung der Gegenoffensive drängen, der sich allerdings gegen die Fortsetzung der Asow-Operation und die zweite Phase der Gegenoffensive ausspricht.
Wenn man sich Videos anschaut, mit welcher Brutalität die Mobilisierung durchgeführt wird, dann wundert man sich, dass das Volk nicht aufmuckt.
Es stimmt aber in jedem Fall, dass die ukrainische Bevölkerung nicht oder falsch informiert wird und den Krieg gar nicht so richtig warnimmt.
Das Leben in Kiew oder auch Odessa verläuft im Prinzip so wie immer und nun ist die Regierung sogar noch bemüht, WhatsApp und Twitter in der UKR zu sperren.
Bestimmte Chats werden ja bereits seit längeren immer abgeschaltet.

Hierzulande wird gern dummes Zeug über Russland verbreitet, sowas ist selten – bis nie in den Qualitätsmedien zu sehen.
