Es sind rund 1500 KM entfernt vom Senegal bis zu den Kanaren.

Der Senegal hat eine lange demokratische Tradition und ist politisch weitgehend stabil.

Das Land im äußersten Westen Afrikas wird seit seiner Unabhängigkeit 1960 ununterbrochen zivil regiert und hat eine rechtsstaatliche Verfassung.

Warum Sich Menschen auf den Weg machen für so eine Strecke bleibt ein Rätsel.

Asylgründe liegen nicht vor, das Boot im Filmbeitrag wurde offensichtlich wieder einmal geschleppt, denn es hat keinen Motor und keine Segelmasten.

Interessanterweise stehen die großen austarierten Fernsehkameras bei der Landung des Bootes schon am Ufer – so kommt kein Stress auf für die Filmteams 😉
