(Landkreis Kassel): Am  Mittwochabend kam es in der Baunataler Akazienallee zu einem Brand in einem Mehrfamilienhaus.

Bewohner waren gegen 21:45 Uhr auf die Rauchentwicklung aufmerksam geworden und hatten die Feuerwehr alarmiert, die den Brand im Kellergeschoss des Treppenhauses schnell löschte.

Eine 43-jährige Bewohnerin hatte Rauchgase eingeatmet und war von Rettungskräften in ein Kasseler Krankenhaus gebracht worden, das sie aber heute wieder verlassen konnte. Das Feuer war offenbar im Bereich von Altpapier und einem Kinderwagen ausgebrochen, die im Treppenhaus abgestellt waren.

Gebäudeschaden war bis auf die Verrußung der Wände nicht entstanden, der Kinderwagen wurde aber komplett zerstört.

Die Ermittlungen zur Ursache des Feuers führen die Beamten des Kommissariats 11 der Kasseler Kripo, die die Brandstelle heute aufgesucht haben. Nach derzeitigem Ermittlungsstand ist eine Brandstiftung nicht auszuschließen, wobei die genaue Brandursache jedoch noch nicht feststeht.

Zur Aufklärung des Falls bitten die Ermittler auch um Hinweise von Zeugen, die etwas Verdächtiges im Bereich Akazienallee/ Kastanienweg beobachtet haben. Hinweise nimmt die Polizei in Kassel unter Tel. 0561-9100 entgegen.
