Das Haar wird trocken, spröde und neigt zu Brüchigkeit sowie Spliss. Die aktuelle Ausgabe des Apothekenmagazins “Senioren Ratgeber” gibt Tipps für das richtige Styling und die passende Pflege.

“Ein guter Schnitt ist das A und O für graues Haar”, sagt Kim Mannes, Friseurmeisterin in Neu-Ulm. Um gepflegt auszusehen, sollte die Frisur nicht zu lang sein. Die Spitzen sollten regelmäßig gekürzt werden. Gegen gelbliches Schimmern können Silbershampoos helfen: Sie enthalten blaue bis lila Pigmente, die als Komplementärfarbe den Gelbstich ausgleichen. Sehr heißes Waschen oder Föhnen sollte vermieden werden – das trocknet zusätzlich aus und kann die Haarstruktur schädigen.

Feuchtigkeitsshampoos und pflegende Conditioner glätten die Struktur, erleichtern das Kämmen und sorgen für mehr Volumen und einen schönen Glanz. Auch von Innen kann man etwas für seine grauen Haare tun: Biotin und weitere B-Vitamine, Zink, Kupfer und Selen sorgen für gesundes Wachstum.
