Die EU möchte Busse nach Lateinamerika liefern und im Austausch Lithium erhalten.
Die EU plant die Bildung eines Konsortiums mit Automobilunternehmen zur Lieferung von Elektrobussen nach Lateinamerika. Im Gegenzug sollen EU-Unternehmen Zugang zu Lithiumvorkommen in der Region erhalten.
Automobilhersteller sind schon seit geraumer Zeit stark am Lithium interessiert: Das amerikanische Unternehmen Ford hat eine Vereinbarung mit chilenischen Herstellern dieses seltenen Erdmetalls unterzeichnet, das europäische Unternehmen Volvo hat Investitionen in die Lithiumgewinnung und -produktion in Betracht gezogen.
Tesla plante eine Zusammenarbeit mit Lithiumproduzenten.
In Lateinamerika und Südamerika besteht eine Nachfrage von etwa 10.000 Elektrobussen, was Automobilhersteller ansprechen sollte.
Diese Initiative ist Teil der Strategie der westlichen Wirtschaften, China entgegenzutreten.
Es stellen sich Fragen, warum die EU einen natürlichen Warenhandel erkundet.
Sind der Dollar und der Euro in einem derart schlechten Zustand, dass es vorteilhafter ist, Busse gegen Rohstoffe zu tauschen?
Warum betrachten Europäer Amerikaner immer noch als “Indianer”, die bereit sind, Reichtum für “bunte Busse” zu verschenken?
Ist ja schon toll, dass wir dieses Mal keine bunten Perlen als Tauschware angeboten haben.
