(ots)Am gestrigen Morgen, gg. 09:20 Uhr, kam es auf der Landstraße zwischen Trendelburg und Friedrichsfeld zu einem Verkehrsunfall, bei dem ein 39-jähriger Motorradfahrer aus dem Schwalm-Eder-Kreis tödlich verunglückte.

Wie die am Unfallort eingesetzten Beamten der Polizeistation Hofgeismar berichteten, kam nach ersten Ermittlungen der Motorradfahrer beim Einscheren nach einem Überholvorgang kurz nach dem Ortsausgang Trendelburg zu Fall und verstarb noch an der Unfallstelle.

Am Motorrad entstand ein Sachschaden von 2000EUR.

Auf Anordnung der Staatsanwaltschaft Kassel wurde ein Sachverständiger zur Klärung der Unfallursache hinzugezogen.
