Auf der Wolfhager Straße in Kassel, nahe der Brandaustraße, ist es am heutigen Freitagmorgen gegen 8 Uhr zu einem schweren Verkehrsunfall gekommen. Nach ersten Erkenntnissen der an der Unfallstelle eingesetzten Streifen des Polizeireviers Nord ist es dort zu einem Zusammenstoß zwischen einem Pkw und einem Roller gekommen. Der Fahrer des Rollers erlitt hierbei so schwere Verletzungen, dass er noch an der Unfallstelle verstarb. Seine Identität ist noch nicht abschließend geklärt. Für die weiteren Ermittlungen und Rekonstruktion des Unfallhergangs wird ein Gutachter hinzugezogen.
Aktuell ist die Wolfhager Straße zwischen der Mombachstraße und der Philippistraße voll gesperrt. Ortskundige werden gebeten, den Bereich zu umfahren. Eine Dauer der Sperrung kann nicht abgesehen werden.
