Die Feuerwehren sind im Großeinsatz, werden vom THW unterstützt. Unzählige Keller sind randvoll und müssen leergepumpt werden.
Ganze Straßenzüge samt Autos stehen im Wasser. Verkehrschaos herrscht um Detmold, da viele Straßen gesperrt sind.
