Derzeit befinden sich Einsatzkräfte von Feuerwehr und Polizei in Oberaula im Einsatz. Unbekannte haben in den frühen Morgenstunden einen Geldautomaten einer Bankfiliale in der Bahnhofstraße in Oberaula gesprengt.

Nach jetzigem Ermittlungsstand ereigneten sich gegen 02:59 Uhr zwei kurz aufeinanderfolgende Explosionen. Anwohner verständigten daraufhin die Polizei. Mindestens zwei dunkelgekleidete,unbekannte Täter verließen kurz nach den Explosionen die dortige Bankfiliale und wurden durch einen dunklen Pkw Kombi aufgenommen, der anschließend mit hoher Geschwindigkeit in Richtung Hausen flüchtete.

Es liegen derzeit keine Kenntnisse über Personenschäden vor. Ob die unbekannten Täter an Beute gelangten und in welcher Höhe ist derzeit noch unklar.

Sprengstoffexperten des Hessischen Landeskriminalamts sind ebenfalls vor Ort im Einsatz. Über die Höhe des Sachschadens kann derzeit keine Aussage getroffen werden.
