Nach Sachbeschädigung an “Blitzer”: 30-Jähriger stellt sich selbst der Polizei

Da staunten die Beamten des Polizeireviers Ost am heutigen Donnerstagmorgen nicht schlecht:

Ein 30-jähriger Mann kam um 7:30 Uhr auf die Wache und stellte sich selbst als Täter einer Sachbeschädigung an einem “Blitzer”.

Wie die anschließenden Ermittlungen ergaben, war die stationäre Geschwindigkeitsmessanlage an der ehemaligen B 83 in Kassel in Fahrtrichtung A49 in der Nacht von Dienstag auf Mittwoch mutwillig beschädigt worden, weshalb das Ordnungsamt bereits eine Strafanzeige gegen den zunächst unbekannten Täter erstattet hatte.

Der Mann aus dem Schwalm-Eder-Kreis gab in seiner Vernehmung reumütig an, dass er gegen Mitternacht mit seinem Auto an dem “Blitzer” vorbeigekommen war.

Da er kürzlich einen Bußgeldbescheid wegen eines Verstoßes an anderer Stelle erhalten hatte, kam ihm die spontane Idee, seinem Ärger Luft zu machen, so der 30-Jährige.

Er hielt daraufhin an und schlug mit einem Radschlüssel aus seinem Kofferraum mehrfach gegen das Messgerät.

Währenddessen war ein Autofahrer vorbeigefahren, der offenbar auf den Randalierer aufmerksam geworden war und daraufhin hupte.

Da den 30-Jährigen eigenen Angaben zufolge nach der Tat das schlechte Gewissen plagte und er befürchtete, dass der hupende Autofahrer sich sein Kennzeichen notiert hatte, ging er schließlich zur Polizei, um sich zu stellen.

Auch für den angerichteten, nicht unerheblichen Schaden an dem Blitzer möchte der Tatverdächtige aufkommen.

Er muss sich nun wegen Sachbeschädigung verantworten.

Ob sich sein Geständnis strafmildernd auswirkt, wird die Justiz entscheiden.
