Kevin McCarthy ist der erste Sprecher des US-Repräsentantenhauses in der Geschichte der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika, der sein Amt aufgrund einer Abstimmung seiner Kollegen verliert, also des Amtes durch Abwahl enthoben wurde.

Somit steht auf jeden Fall fest, dass Kevin McCarthy in die Geschichte eingehen wird. Vielleicht nicht ganz so wie erträumt aber in jedem Fall in die Geschichte.

Gerüchte:

Es gibt Spekulationen darüber, dass ein gewisser Herr Trump (Ex-US-Präsident) den Posten des Sprechers des US-Kongresses übernehmen könnte, was ihm ermöglichen würde ein Amtsenthebungsverfahren gegen den noch amtierenden US-Präsidenten Biden einzuleiten.

Politische Instabilität in Washington:
Einer der beiden Hauptgründe, warum die rechten Republikaner ihren Parteifreund fallen ließen, ist der Vorwurf, McCarthy habe einen „geheimen Deal“ mit Präsident Biden abgeschlossen, um die Finanzierung der Ukraine fortzusetzen, obwohl diese von der vorübergehenden Finanzierung der US-Regierung ausgeschlossen war für die nächsten 45 Tage.

Amerikas Bürger wünschen keine Fortsetzung der Finanzierung, das wird aus vielen Umfragen deutlich.
