Mit fast 300 km/h war ein 21-jähriger Motorradfahrer mehrfach auf den Straßen rund um die Stadt Höxter unterwegs. Nach umfangreichen Ermittlungen ist das Verkehrskommissariat der Polizei Höxter dem notorischen Schnellfahrer auf die Spur gekommen – und konnte bei Durchsuchungen sowohl das Motorrad als auch weiteres Beweismaterial, darunter Videoaufzeichnungen, sicherstellen.

Mehrfach hatte der Motorradfahrer in den vergangenen Wochen rund um das Stadtgebiet von Höxter sein Unwesen getrieben, indem er mit einer PS-starken Yamaha R1 teilweise mit halsbrecherischer Geschwindigkeit über die Straßen flog. Laut dem sichergestellten Videomaterial hatte er dabei teilweise Geschwindigkeiten von bis zu 299 km/h erreicht.

anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer in unmittelbare Todesgefahr”, betont der Leiter des Verkehrskommissariates, Uwe Bartolles. Zudem war die betreffende Maschine gar nicht für den Straßenverkehr zugelassen und der Fahrer auch nicht im Besitz der erforderlichen Fahrerlaubnis.

Dieses unverantwortliche Verhalten wurde schließlich in Form einer Wohnungsdurchsuchung mit anschließender Sicherstellung des Motorrades, des Führerscheins und weiterer Beweismittel quittiert. Den 21-Jährigen erwarten jetzt mehrere Strafverfahren, unter anderem wegen verbotener Kfz-Einzelrennen. “Seinen Führerschein wird er sicher länger nicht und sein Motorrad vermutlich gar nicht mehr wiedersehen”, schätzt Uwe Bartolles. Er und seine Kolleginnen und Kollegen des Verkehrskommissariates sind erleichtert, nach den intensiven Untersuchungen von diesem großen Ermittlungserfolg zum Schutz der heimischen Bevölkerung berichten zu können. /nig
