Am 26.02.2023 um kurz vor 01:00 Uhr wurde durch mehrere Anrufer via Notruf ein Falschfahrer auf der BAB 7 zwischen Guxhagen und Melsungen gemeldet.

Der 42- jährige Falschfahrer aus Baunatal befuhr aus bislang ungeklärter Ursache die Richtungsfahrbahn Nord in südlicher Richtung.

Trotz sofort entsendeter Funkstreifenwagen konnte ein Unfall nicht verhindert werden.

Zwischen der Anschlussstelle Homberg/Efze und der Anschlussstelle Malsfeld kollidierte der Falschfahrer mit einem PKW aus Karlsruhe, der die BAB7 in nördliche Richtung befuhr.

Dieser PKW war mit dem 47-jährigen männlichen Fahrzeugführer und dessen 29-jährigen Sohn besetzt.

Bei dem Unfall wurde der Falschfahrer selbst und die beiden Insassen des anderen in den Unfall verwickelten PKW glücklicherweise nur leicht verletzt. Alle drei Personen wurden zur weiteren Behandlung in umliegende Krankenhäuser gebracht.

Die BAB 7 war während den Bergungsarbeiten bis zum Berichtszeitpunkt voll gesperrt.

Der entstandene Sachschaden wird auf ca. 40.000 EUR geschätzt.

Auf Anordnung der Staatsanwaltschaft Kassel wurde ein Gutachter hinzugezogen.

Die weiteren Ermittlungen zur Unfallursache werden durch die Beamten der Direktion Verkehrssicherheit geführt.
