(ots)Kassel-Oberzwehren: Am Sonntagabend, gegen 22:30 Uhr, meldeten mehrere Bewohner eines Mehrfamilienhauses in Kassel-Oberzwehren einen lauten Familienstreit zwischen einem Ehepaar, in dessen Verlauf der Mann die Frau im Treppenhaus mit einem Messer angegriffen haben soll.

Die hinzugeeilten Streifen fanden die 28-jährige Frau mit Stich- und Schnittverletzungen am Hals vor dem Haus auf.

Rettungskräfte brachten sie umgehend zur Behandlung der schweren Verletzungen in ein Kasseler Krankenhaus. Lebensgefahr bestand für die 28-Jährige nach Einschätzung der behandelnden Ärzte nicht.

Der tatverdächtige 30-jährige Ehemann war bei Eintreffen der Polizisten bereits geflüchtet. Er konnte bei der sofort eingeleiteten Fahndung in unmittelbarer Nähe des Tatorts festgenommen werden. Nach ersten Ermittlungen soll der Tatverdächtige seine Frau unvermittelt mit dem Messer in der Wohnung angegriffen haben. Als sie sich aus dem Haus flüchtete, folgte ihr der 30-Jährige, griff sie weiter an und fügte ihr die Verletzungen zu. Das mutmaßliche Tatmittel wurde von den Polizisten aufgefunden und sichergestellt.

Der festgenommene Tatverdächtige sitzt derzeit im Polizeigewahrsam.

Die weiteren Ermittlungen wegen des Verdachts des versuchten Tötungsdelikts werden beim Kommissariat 11 der Kasseler Kripo geführt. Die Hintergründe der Tat sind derzeit noch ungeklärt und nun Gegenstand der weiteren Ermittlungen.
