(ots) Kassel-Wehlheiden: Zwei falsche Wasserwerker haben am gestrigen Montagvormittag in der Franz-Treller-Straße in Kassel einen Senior in seiner Wohnung bestohlen. Die beiden Männer hatten sich gegen 11:30 Uhr an der Wohnungstür als Mitarbeiter der Stadtwerke vorgestellt und vorgegeben, dass sie nach dem Wasserzähler schauen und die Wasserqualität überprüfen müssen. Sogar einen Ausweis zeigten sie vor, sodass das Opfer die vermeintlichen Wasserwerker in die Wohnung ließ. Während einer der Männer den Senior ablenkte, durchsuchte sein Komplize zunächst unbemerkt mehrere Zimmer nach Wertsachen. Als der hochbetagte Mann ihn zufällig im Schlafzimmer vor einer geöffneten Geldkassette ertappte, rannte der Dieb sofort aus dem Raum und flüchtete gemeinsam mit dem zweiten Täter aus der Wohnung. Der Senior stellte anschließend fest, dass mehrere Geldscheine entwendet worden waren.
Die Trickdiebe werden wie folgt beschrieben:
1.) 30 bis 40 Jahre alt, 1,95 bis 2,00 Meter groß, kurze schwarze Haare, dunklerer Teint, trug schwarz-weiße Oberbekleidung, sprach Deutsch mit Akzent
2.) 30 bis 40 Jahre alt, 1,65 bis 1,70 Meter groß, kurze braune lichte Haare, dunklerer Teint, khaki-grüner Monteuranzug mit Hosenträgern, sprach Deutsch ohne Akzent
