Die alte Aseler Brücke ist komplett wieder zu sehen und begehbar.

Auch die Überreste des Dorfes Berich tauchen langsam wieder auf.

Berich ist einer von drei Dörfern, die 1913 umgesiedelt werden mussten.

Berich siedelte sich übrigens oberhalb des Twistesees neu an und heißt jetzt Neu-Berich.

Man sagt, dass die Kirche Stein um Stein abgetragen wurde und neu aufgebaut wurde. Sie soll nun 50 cm weniger haben.
