Die Polizei sagte, dass sie “ihren eigenen Augen nicht traute”, als sie den Hund entdeckte, der scheinbar am Steuer des Fahrzeugs saß. Der 31-jährige Fahrer des Wagens gab an, der Hund sei ihm auf den Schoß gesprungen, während er das Auto fuhr, aber die Polizei zweifelte an seiner Geschichte.
Da sich auf dem Beifahrersitz nichts bewegte, ging die Polizei davon aus, dass der Besitzer den Hund absichtlich hinter das Steuer gesetzt hatte. Die Polizei scherzte, dass sie “die Jagdpläne des Hundes ruiniert” habe und fragte den Hund beim Anhalten des Fahrzeugs sogar nach seinem Führerschein.
Die Beamten betonten, wie wichtig es ist, Haustiere in Fahrzeugen sicher zu sichern, da selbst kleine Tiere während der Fahrt ein Risiko darstellen können.
