Diese Bundesregierung mausert sich zum Steuerfiasko für uns Steuerzahler

in der Koalition herrscht wieder einmal Zank: Wirtschaftsminister Habeck und Finanzminister Lindner schicken sich im Streit um den Bundeshaushalt böse Briefe. Über Möglichkeiten, die Einnahmen zu verbessern, möchte Habeck beraten. Wir schlagen dagegen vor, erst einmal die bestehenden Ausgaben in den Blick zu nehmen und veröffentlichen wöchentlich Einsparvorschläge für den Bundeshaushalt. Zwei davon stellen wir Ihnen in diesem Newsletter vor.

Steuergelder können auch an anderer Stelle eingespart werden, zum Beispiel indem drohender Verschwendung rechtzeitig ein Riegel vorgeschoben wird. Auf der Pütnitz in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern haben wir einen solchen Fall aufgespürt: 43 Mio. Euro Fördergelder sollen an einen Investor fließen – für ein aus der Zeit gefallenes, touristisches Großprojekt.

Auch in Baden-Württemberg werden Steuergelder für den Tourismus mobilisiert: 3,3 Mio. Euro gibt das Land aus, um die eigenen Bürger über die Vorzüge des Tourismus zu informieren. Ob es derartige PR-Sperenzchen wirklich braucht? Wir haben unsere Zweifel.

Der Streit der Ampelminister wird wohl weitergehen: Zeitenwende, Energiekrise und nicht zuletzt ein Berg von Schulden engen den Spielraum für teure neue Projekte ein. Unsere Beispiele zeigen aber, dass sich der Blick in den Ausgabendschungel lohnt.

Der Trend geht zum eigenen Visagisten

Gut auszusehen und sich im gewünschten Licht zu präsentieren scheint der aktuellen Bundesregierung ganz schön wichtig zu sein.

Zumindest sind die Ausgaben für Fotografen, Friseure und Visagisten im ersten vollen Regierungsjahr der Ampel 2022 deutlich gestiegen – auf rund 1,5 Mio. Euro.
