August, muss ab 9 Uhr ein 1.000-Meter-Evakuierungsgebiet rund um die Fundstelle eingerichtet werden. Die Polizei wird am Freitagmorgen vor Ort mit Lautsprecherdurchsagen die Anwohnerinnen und Anwohner auffordern, die betroffenen Bereiche zu verlassen.

Für die Dauer der Evakuierung sind Betreuungsstellen für Personen eingerichtet, die in dieser Zeit nicht bei Verwandten, Freunden oder andernorts verbringen können.

Diese befinden sich in der Heinrich-Schütz-Schule, Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße 11, im Wilhelmsgymnasium, Kunoldstraße 51, in der Elisabeth-Knipping-Schule, Mombachstraße 14, sowie in der documenta-Halle, Du-Ry-Straße 1.

Anwohnerinnen und Anwohner, die ihre Wohnung nicht ohne fremde Hilfe verlassen können, erhalten einen kostenfreien Krankentransport. Auch wer aus Alters- oder anderen Gründen nicht in der Lage ist, das Evakuierungsgebiet zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrzeug zu verlassen, kann entsprechende Hilfe in Anspruch nehmen. Über das Servicetelefon 115 können sich Bürgerinnen und Bürger dazu ab Freitagmorgen, 11. August, 7 Uhr, informieren sowie allgemeine Auskünfte zur Evakuierung und zur Entschärfung erhalten.

Sobald die Evakuierung abgeschlossen ist, wird mit der Sprengung begonnen. Wie lang diese andauern wird, lässt sich aktuell noch nicht abschätzen. Es wird informiert, sobald alle Bereiche wieder freigegeben sind.
