Zehn Beamte seien verletzt worden.

Laut einem Pressesprecher hatte der Verband der eritreischen Vereine Stuttgart und Umgebung e.V., der als regierungsnah angesehen wird, zu einem Treffen eingeladen.

Etwa 100 Regierungsgegner  wollten aber die Veranstaltung stören.

Als die Lage eskalierte, sei die Polizei mit Schlagstöcken und Pfefferspray gegen die Angreifer vorgegangen.
