Der 42-Jährige wird in der kommenden Saison weiterhin die Geschicke hinter der Kasseler Bande lenken.
Vier Meistertitel und zwei Goldmedaillen mit der niederländischen Nationalmannschaft kann Bo Subr schon in seiner Trainerlaufbahn nachweisen. Als Spieler war der ehemalige Stürmer in Kanada, den USA, Tschechien, Frankreich, Schweden, Norwegen, Serbien und den Niederlanden aktiv.
2010 folgte für Bo Subr der Schritt hinter die Bande. Nach einer Saison als Co-Trainer bei den Eindhoven High Techs übernahm er später dessen Cheftrainerposten. Über eine Zwischenstation beim niederländischen Club NIJA Talentteam kam Subr 2015 zu den Tilburg Trappers.
Mit den „Trappers“ nahm er am Spielbetrieb der deutschen Oberliga teil und gewann in der Zeit zwischen 2016 und 2018 den Titelhattrick mit seinem Team und wurde 2018 zum Trainer des Jahres in der Oberliga Nord gewählt. Zur Saison 2021/22 wechselte Subr zu den Löwen Frankfurt in die DEL2. Mit den Südhessen gewann er in seiner Debütsaison die Zweitliga-Meisterschaft und feierte den sportlichen Aufstieg in die PENNY DEL.
Nach einer bisher sehr erfolgreichen Hauptrunde mit den Schlittenhunden und dem Gewinn der Hauptrundenmeisterschaft, steht aktuell das große Ziel „Aufstieg“ im Fokus des gebürtigen Tschechen.

Die Hauptrundenmeisterschaft und das Playoff-Heimrecht vorzeitig erreicht zu haben, zeugt davon, welch gutes Verhältnis zwischen Team und Trainer herrscht. Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass Bo auch zukünftig der richtige Mann hinter unserer Bande ist und blicken sehr optimistisch in Richtung Playoffs, wo unser gemeinsames Ziel am Ende dieser Saison noch auf sich warten lässt.“
