Indem es inmitten des Museumspublikums zur Aufführung gelangt, unterläuft dieses Werk das durch die Gesellschaft aufgezwungene normierte Verhalten des Körpers. Das Tempo der Performance bleibt über die gesamte Dauer aleatorisch, die Aufführungen geschehen spontan, die Wiederholung ist konstant.

Το Bar Matanzas είναι μια παρέμβαση από τους María Magdalena Campos-Pons και Neil Leonard που αποκαλύπτει την κουλτούρα ντιζάιν, ποτού και φαγητού στη Ματάνσας, που είναι γνωστή και ως «Αθήνα της Κούβας». Το εναρκτήριο πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει μουσική από τον Leonard και το εμβληματικό συγκρότημα ρούμπα Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, οι οποίοι γιορτάζουν την 65η τους επέτειο με 9 υπαίθριες συναυλίες.

Το Expiration Movement (Κίνηση εκπνοής) είναι ένα έργο του καλλιτέχνη Daniel Knorr, που βρίσκεται στην κορυφή του Zwehrenturm στο Κάσελ. Από την έναρξη της documenta 14 στην Αθήνα τον Απρίλιο του 2017 λευκός καπνός σηματοδοτεί τη διάρκεια της έκθεσης στην Αθήνα και στο Κάσελ, κατά τη διάρκεια των ωρών λειτουργίας της έκθεσης στην Αθήνα, για 163 μέρες.

Το Diary είναι το magnum opus του Ισραηλινού σκηνοθέτη ντοκιμαντέρ και παιδαγωγού David Perlov, το οποίο γυρίστηκε σε διάστημα δέκα χρόνων. Ο Perlov, που μετανάστευσε από το Ισραήλ στη Βραζιλία στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 1950, κατέγραψε την καθημερινή ζωή του, προσωπικές οικογενειακές στιγμές μαζί με τις πολιτικές και κοινωνικές αλλαγές στην κοινωνία του Ισραήλ.

Γυρισμένη αποκλειστικά με κάμερα στο χέρι, η ταινία απεικονίζει με ωμότητα τη ζωή και τον θάνατο, θρυμματίζοντας τις ρομαντικές ψευδαισθήσεις για τη θάλασσα, και έχει ήδη ασκήσει μεγάλη επιρροή στους κινηματογραφιστές μέχρι σήμερα.

Ο Γιάννης Κοντραφούρης έγραψε το θεατρικό του έργο Ιοκάστη στο νοσοκομείο λίγο πριν πεθάνει και επιθυμία του ήταν να σκηνοθετηθεί από τον Τερζόπουλο στο θέατρο Άττις. Το έργο αναφέρεται στον αρχαίο μύθο, με μορφές ηρώων σε μια βαθύτατα και αναπόφευκτα αντιηρωική εποχή. Η Ιοκάστη στήνει τον δικό της εφιάλτη και ανατρέπει την τάξη μιας κοινωνίας που είναι βασισμένη σε τερατώδη εγκλήματα.

Collective Exhibition for a Single Body is proposed by documenta 14 curator Pierre Bal-Blanc in collaboration with the Greek choreographer Kostas Tsioukas and dancers and performers Myrto Kontoni and Tassos Koukoutas. A body is dissected into distinct parts, as in an anatomical study. Each part, limb, muscle, or organ, becomes the medium of an action overseen by the curator and the choreographer and created by a selection of documenta 14 participating artists who work in a variety of disciplines. The proposed gestures are translated into scores and performed by three dancers among the visitors to the museum in an aleatory fashion, continuously repeated.

Janis Kontraphouris wrote his play Jocasta in the hospital shortly before his death and wanted the text to be staged by Terzopoulos in his Attis Theatre. The play refers to the ancient myth dealing with heroic figures in a profound and inevitably anti-heroic era. Jocasta constructs her own final nightmare and disturbs the order of a society based on monstrous crimes.
